The Niyama 200-Hour Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training is a proven and innovative program by Regula Guldimann, founder of Niyama Yoga. Since 2014, the studio offers yoga teacher trainings. Niyama Yoga is a yoga school recognized by the Yoga Alliance. Yoga Alliance is the internationally best known and largest yoga organization.

The training is in German, for the teaching practice it’s up to you whether you would like to practice in English or German.

Requirements
Prerequisite is a regular yoga practice before the beginning of the training; if you’ve never been to a class with us before, it’s highly recommended that you take one so you get to know the studio and us and we can get to know you.

Content
– Teaching Practice:
Our training will be very practice-oriented, it is important to us that you feel confident at the end of the training to teach a yoga class.

– Techniques:
We take a close look at the most important yoga poses, practice adjustments; you learn how to structure a class that makes sense.

– Building a yoga class:
Adapted to different levels, target groups (sequence of poses, inclusion of a theme, teaching combination yoga philosophy and asana), atmosphere in the room etc.

– Yoga anatomy

– Yoga philosophy

– Pranayama (breathing exercises) and meditation

– I as a yoga teacher:
What does it mean to be a yoga teacher; your own development as a yoga teacher.

– Yoga and business:
Important aspects of the profession of yoga teacher

Individual supervision by the teacher possible
